- What materials can you engrave?
- Glass and crystal bottles, anodised and plated metal, acrylic, wood and ceramics. Leather goods cannot be engraved — hot foiling is the right finish for those. Send a sample and we will test before your event date.
- Can the engraving be colour filled?
- Yes. Engravings can be filled in gold or silver so the lettering stands out against the surface, which works especially well on glass and darker metals.
- How many pieces can you engrave per hour?
- Typically 12 to 20 pieces per hour per engraver depending on material and name length. Larger guest lists are covered by adding engravers.
- Can you engrave on site at our boutique or event?
- Yes. The station is self-contained and quiet enough for retail floors, press days and hotel ballrooms across Hong Kong.
- Are there items you cannot engrave?
- Champagne bottles and electronic devices are not suitable. Champagne bottles are under high internal pressure, so the vibration and heat of engraving risks cracking the glass. Electronics have coated, layered or sealed casings where engraving can breach the shell, damage internal components and void the manufacturer's warranty. For these, hot foiling or a personalised tag is a safer alternative.
